In this video I am explaining how to perform the perfect Russian twists for great abs.
Russian Twist - (with a Litre Bottle water)
1. Sit on the floor with knees bent like you would be in at the top of a "sit-up" position. The feet should be kept together or slightly crossed, and slightly above the ground or could be put under a stable surface if you prefer
2.The torso should be kept straight with the back kept off the ground at roughly a 45-degree angle.
3. Arms should be stretched out in front or can be tucked in at the elbows start with hands locked together or holding a weight or water bottle just like I am for added resistance.
4. Next, the arms should move from one side to the next creating a twisting motion of the shoulders and body, with each swing to a side counting as one repetition.
5.The slower one moves the arms from side to side, the harder the exercise will feel in the front of the abdominals. The faster the twist the more work you will put into the oblique’s.
6.Try and maintain constant motion as you do the set not pausing as you change direction.
You can do these absolutely anywhere! I do these when I am on location and don't have access to a gym. There are no excuses! I hope you enjoy.

Special thanks to Paola's Body Barre for letting me film at the studios. PBB is a fantastic way to train your muscles for a long and lean look.

I am not a trainer, a nutritionist, doctor or molecular biologist. I’m just a girl who has had years of issues with food, and as a result became unhealthy. Having done much research into food and exercise it has become a passion of mine to become healthy and happy, and I would like to help you avoid some of the mistakes I made. If you are having real problems and you think you might need help, then please speak to you local GP or call the good people at http://eating-disorders.org.uk/contac...
Remember. When training, stop immediately if you feel faint or dizzy.
