The Perfect Step-Up with Amanda Byram

In this video I explain the perfect step up. A great exercise to tone the legs and butt.

1. Set up with one foot on the step and one on the ground keeping them roughly shoulder width apart.

2. Lean forward with body so that most of your weight is over the foot on the step.

3. Try and keep the leg on the ground completely straight and begin to push with the foot on the step.

4. lift yourself up and once you reach the top of the movement drop down again.

Your can put the back foot on the step but there is no need and it will slow down the repetitions.

5. Before repeating pause and make sure your weight is still over the front leg to avoid bouncing of the back foot as you hit the ground.
