In this video I explain how to do the perfect shoulder press, with a resistance band. You can do this anywhere!
1. Stand on an exercise band with both feet so that you feel tension in the band at arm's length. Grasp the handles and lift them so that the hands are at shoulder height at each side.
2.Rotate the twists so that the palms of your hands are facing forward. Your elbows should be bent with the upper arms and forearms in line to the torso.
3. From this position exhale, lift the handles up until your arms are fully extended overhead. and return to start position…
A squat can be added for some extra work. Simply squat down and up as you reach the top of the squat begin the shoulder press. At the completion of the shoulder press movement repeat the squat.
