Come and celebrate spring at the Grand Palais with the “Kupka. Pioneer of Abstraction” exhibition. The retrospective, featuring more than 300 works, offers a chronological and theme-based itinerary through the work of the Czech painter. It provides a new approach to two major currents of the 19th and 20th centuries, symbolism and abstraction, of which Kupka was one of the main precursors and actors. Visitors will discover paintings, drawings, etchings, manuscripts, diaries, illustrated books, photographs and films for a total immersion in the colourful universe of František Kupka.
