This is Dixter, he is a lovely Fox terrier but has some pretty serious issues. One of those issues is resource guarding, he has sent his owner to hospital recently after he bit her. Now despite this the owners still want to do what's best for him and are not willing to give up on him.
I applaud that and commend that.
With Dixter we needed to go all the way back to basics before we can begin to address his resource guarding. We need the owners to understand him a bit better, get his stubborn and disobedient behaviour in check and begin to rebuild their relationship.
Dixter has been given to much control in the past, we needed to take back some control with him, get his lead walking under control, make sure that when his owners ask him to do something, he does it, no questions asked and in turn this will open up a whole new world for Dixter and improve his and his owners relationship.
Dixter is a cool dog as you can see but we have a lot of work to do.
